Silvija Ābele is a HOLISTIC NUTRITIONIST and health consultant with over a decade of experience, specializing in low-carbohydrate and GAPS (Gut and Psychology Syndrome / Gut and Physiology Syndrome) dietary approaches. She works from a functional, root-cause perspective, supporting gut health, metabolic and hormonal balance, nutrient repletion, and stable energy. Silvija works with women’s health and fertility, children’s health, neurodevelopmental conditions such as ASD and ADHD, as well as autoimmune and chronic health conditions, providing highly personalized and practical nutrition strategies for long-term resilience and well-being.

Hi, I am Silvija Ābele, I am a Nutritionist, Certified GAPS Practitioner, Certified Bioindividual Nutrition Practitioner and Certified Quantum Biology Practitioner. After almost 30 years in the academic environment (PhD in chemistry), I changed my career path – first I completed my studies in Homeopathy and then extensively studied nutrition (GAPS practitioner studies with Dr Natasha Campbell-McBride, Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Master's degree in Nutrition science, Bioindividual Nutrition training course with Julie Matthews). Since 2014 I have practiced as a certified GAPS practitioner, and since 2021 - as a nutritionist. Holistic approach to health is my passion. 

My professional interests include – low carb diets (GAPS), gut health, autistic spectrum disorder, ADD/ADHD, autoimmunity, mental health, fertility, children’s health. I initiated and contributed to the Latvian translation and edition of the book “Gut and Psychology Syndrome: Natural Treatment for Autism, Dyspraxia, A.D.D., Dyslexia, A.D.H.D., Depression, Schizophrenia” by Dr Natasha Campbell-McBride. I am based in Riga, Latvia.
